Cute little certificate he got. And I don't know what he is doing in the background, sucking on his arm. Who knows?

Well, the haircut was a success. He didn't cry at all and just looked at what she was doing sometimes, but they are pros so it wasn't a problem.

He looks like a true toddler now!

Downtown

Chad and I got a whole weekend away in downtown portland. We relaxed, went out to swanky bars and even watched a movie (Star Trek, it was really good, if you are into that sort of cheeky humor, interesting to see how the characters started out). We walked and rode the street car a lot and went to farmers market and just loved being together.
My mom and dad and lilly (my cousin) watched Isaac all weekend. They went out to the marina and to another one of Gio's performances.

I highly suggest get-aways to all those mommies out there.

New Smile

Isaac is now trying to smile for pics but doesn't quite have it down. If you remember he did this smile in the beginning of the year too!

Tricks

Having fun with my little man!

WOW! 2 weeks without posting....

Just busy chasing around a 1 year old boy. He knows how to do so much. Like right now, he is "pushing" buttons on toys and they play songs and sounds. This makes him very happy and he dances too, sways side to side and smiles. He claps alot. He also walks (15 steps or so). He is really doing better with sounds he just started with s's and na-na. Last but not least, he enjoys pulling out light socket covers and putting his fingers in the sockets, that's about it though.

Chad and I are in Coos Bay Oregon where Chad is at a weeklong conference. We are having a lot of fun being here as a family. It's a good prep for Hawaii this July, except it's raining, windy and 58 degrees outside. So no, not really like Hawaii, not really at all.
