I so love Isaac's kindergarten and looked forward to this year's christmas program...knowing that the 5 year old's have speaking parts this time around....

Jedi Training

Just got back from a great trip to California. First stop Disneyland. Isaac really wanted to do this jedi training he saw on youtube one day last September with me. We were SOOOOOO excited when he was chosen. My parents, cousin and brother Dan were watching from above. Chad and I knew he wanted it so bad, it was a great feeling as a parent as he was chosen, our hearts were full. He did awesome, until Darth Vader showed up, he then activated his light saber and was like WHOA! He did not want to fight darth Vader, and I wouldn't either at that age. Very happy for what he did do.

We have lots more videos and pics I will try to get up in next few days.

Isaac was measuring himself and he was 44 inches. Then he went to the scale and weighed himself and he was 44.4 pounds. Random.

A new school year

Well, here we are....one week into the 2013-2014 school year. Chad is teaching 4th grade at Lacomb School in Lebanon (a permanent position) and Isaac starts Kindergarten at the same school as last year next week. We have the same awesome nanny/sitters and am very excited about the upcoming year.

This summer has been wonderful and lots of fun with the kids during this time.

I have so many pics. Now that life will get into a routine I hope to post some.

But for now...Natalie likes to play pretend a lot...mommy, teacher, baby, lion, all sorts...but tonight she was teacher and overlooking her student Chad drawing a picture of a giraffe...while helping her student she says..."Teacher has to poop" and runs away...well we were laughing so hard. That's our life.

We capped off the day with a trip on the train...kind of bummed it had NO animals to see...but it was very relaxing and my kids love love love trains.
