Little Pad

Excuse the pull ups...but he is almost done learning little pad (my favorite camp song). And also my ridiculous moves. love this kid.

heavy heart

So a lot of accidents have been happening to toddlers lately and it's awful...

1. Toddler fell out of window...I am buying window locks today and NEVER open up windows upstairs in my house.

2. Dad ran over girl with tractor.

3. Toddler got ran over by suv at baseball game....Chad and I have been talking about consistently parking backwards so we can pull out and see in front of us when leaving our house.

4. Little boy fell out of fishing boat and dad jumped in to save him...but died in process. Not ready for toddlers on boats for us yet. Too unpredictable.

So sad...these stories.

ag fest

Neighbor Dawn told me about the ag fest and that she and other neighbors were going to this morning...How fun! I was trying to find something to do this morning while chad worked diligently on his work sample that is due in 9 days.
The ag fest is awesome for kids. First of all, it's free for kids. Then there was a 2 dollar off coupon, that meant 7 dollars for all of us. Totally family friendly and awesome. Free pony rides. We only stayed a bit, but it was worth every penny:)
Isaac learning the difference between horses and ponies.

Pony ride!

The worker, led Isaac for me, cuz I was with Natalie. So sweet.

Isaac said he wanted to watch the kids ride the ponies, but then said he wanted to. So proud of my big boy.

the bunny had red eyes. I thought it was kinda creepy too.

Addison and Jacob

The cutest 2 month old calf

There's neighbor Dawn taking the pic in background!

(most of) The kids lined up watching the sheep get sheared.

Isaac wanted to sit, walk, stand next to Addison all day.

Climbing on a old truck that we probably shouldn't be climbing on.

At home...Natalie is quite the pushover lately.

raisin

This probably won't be as funny as it was when Isaac said it this morning...but I will try...
Background:
Isaac is extremely into imagination play...he is spider man for hours. I am Mr incredible...he is buzz, I am buzz too. He is Natalie, I am daddy. He assigns us characters and it's pretty fun...Oh I really like it when he is a cat because he walks on all fours and tries to get petted and I never get what he is doing...I say, "what are you doing" and in a high pitched cat-voice (?) he says, "I'm a kitty, pet me".

So this morning, Isaac said I was a raisin. I said okay, you are a cheerio. He said "no!, I am an Isaac and you are a raisin." I went about my morning wiping counters and all of the sudden he yells "RAISIN! GET IN MY BOWL!" He was absolutely serious. I said I can't, I am too big to get in the bowl and he yelled it again with all seriousness. I rolled my eyes and laughed. It was hilarious. I never got in the bowl, I am such an awful mother. BUT i did wear a spider man mask ALL morning last week, even making pancakes and that was pretty intense, so I think it makes up for not getting in the bowl.

The END:)

enjoying the sun last weekend

Running and happy!
This is our creek where it usually is...it was up around that tree during the floods in january:)

Natalie walking in the backyard

This is a close up shot that i describe later....look at that wrist roll...love it.

Isaac loves turkey sandwiches...he would have them for breakfast lunch and dinner if i let him.

I have been into getting close up shots of the kids...to remember the way his fingers look and the way his hair is on his forehead, the way he looks at his sandwich or eats. The kids change so much in just a few months...I don't want to forget their cuteness (not that it goes away, but it does change and it's sad when his fingers aren't as pudgy as they used to be:))
