Artic Blast 2008-Homage to the incredible amount of news coverage.

This beautiful branch of a tree fell into our backyard last night. And we didn't even hear it. So....God has provided us with a wonderful "rental", where the owner can come next week and deal with the tree!!! yah!

This gives some perspective to our big the branch is....

Isaac watching Dad shoveling snow.

Chad shoveling snow. What a good hubby.

Looking good...
So this week has been crazy. Isaac had surgery on Monday. Recovery tue and wed along with a snow storm and two days of getting new tires. Then...Carol (Chad's step mom) had surgery on Thursday at Prov Portland . She is still recovery and in a lot of pain. Please pray for her. Friday, my parents came to watch isaac. They were stuck until today, and now have traveled north, headed to Gresham, but sidelined to Milwaukie, due to a state of emergency in gresham. They are staying with Nana Lussier.
Well that's all I have for now. The Hills finale awaits. It's pathetic. I know.

Circumcision

Finally, the day has come for Isaac to have his hypospadias, torsion and chordee repair (All big names for a little fix up). Basically, he had a circumcision today under general anesthesia. Thanks for all the prayers for our little guy. He was a "little prince" as the nurses called him and Chad and I are so relieved that he is safe and healthy.

Getting into the car at 0350 in the morning....

One of the chains broke, so we continued on for about 40 miles with this one chain.
I love this chain.

Playing in the playroom before surgery.

After surgery...Happy Boy!

It will be about a 2 week recovery.

Merry Christmas!!!

This was not planned today. But a trip to the mall and we came out with Isaac sitting on Santa's lap. It was actually fun for Chad and I to start this tradition. Thank goodness it was on a Thursday, not a very long line. Merry Christmas!!!!

Gpa's bench

Carol brought over this bench for Isaac that Chad's Dad had made. It's beautiful and Isaac will have so much fun.

Please pray for Carol...She is having surgery on Friday.

2nd Christmas Tree

I felt the need to get a Christmas Tree on Thursday because I knew that Dan, Jes and Gio would take Isaac to get their Christmas tree on Sunday. I had to make it to the punch first, even if it was in a parking lot.

Here they are. ....

Thanks again, Dan, Jes and Gio, for taking such great care of Isaac. He had so much fun. He learned a couple of new things while he was with you, the cutest is that he pulls off anything that is on his head, like the hooded towel after his baths. It's so funny.
Love you all lots.

Christmas Tree

Last Thursday, we ventured to our favorite family market EZ orchards and picked up a Christmas Tree. Chad promised he would take me to a ucut next year. Isaac enjoyed the adventure waking up from a nap to watch us pick out the tree.

It's a really beautiful tree. We even decorated it the same day.
