Grammie comes to visit!

After a busy couple weeks, having a baby, brother getting married, settling back in at home....my mom came down to visit and get some quality time with the barr fam...

on a side note, natalie got conjunctivits (pink eye) at 12 days old. I took her to pediatrician and got eye drops. It cleared up immediately, so based on that great response, it was probably for sure, pink eye.

Trip to Ikea with 10 day old and 26 month old...YIKES

"Are you seriously driving 1.5 hours for a 10 dollar reading lamp and end table for Grammie?"

Figuring out how to shop with two kids. Stroller and cart has been the answer for now:)

Isaac has always had meltdowns in Ikea. Only when we hit the downstairs lighting area. Thank goodness...this is our last trip for awhile. We HAD to get some things to get Grammie settled when she stayed with us for a few days (reading lamp was on my mom's request list:)) But we also got an end table and lamp for our living room and NOW we are complete and taking a break from Ikea for awhile.

NOTE: Isaac will be wearing this "happy camper" shirt in many of the future blog posts. I have been tending to choose this shirt and didn't notice it until I downloaded all my pics. Am I trying to instill happy camper vibe into isaac? A little:)

isaac sleeps until 9 am somedays...I am enjoying it while it lasts.

We have a 39 week baby appt today at 4 pm. Let's hope for some progress!!!
Now time to go for a walk in the rain. Thank goodness I am pretty sure the weather is looking up in the next couple weeks, hopefully in time for my bro's wedding June 19th.

Kicking

Isaac does this really cool kicking and running with the ball outside. Here is my attempt to capture it, but usually he will run and kick it across the whole yard. He is so cool.

appt this thu. looking forward to how it goes! Baby girl is still kicking and moving a lot (they say it slows down the last month or so). But my pregnancies seem to be always different than the books.
