Thanks Brad Cable!

Chad's friend Brad got this outfit for Baby Barr last Christmas 2007. How Sweet! We always thought it looked soooo big and long. But here we are January 2009 and it fits. I even put on the panda cap and doesn't it look perfect? a complete outfit. Brad did pretty good, not knowing if it was a boy or girl.
Very gender neutral.

His camera pose!

Represent!

And...I think I will bonk you!

Isaac has a little cold and is drooling constantly. I think a couple more teeth may be coming in soon.
And last but not least, update on the reverse worm. His hip-hop moves are gone. He now has all fours, typical baby moves. Ah...some day I will teach him again the hip-hop moves, maybe in a couple years.

To Blanket or Not to Blanket?

Isaac and Sadie

Isaac sleeping with a blanket

Don't you all just love his mohawk
It only last for about half a day because I don't have good product.

Okay...
So here's the deal. We haven't given Isaac any blankets because of SIDS and he has slept on his back since he was born. Lucky us. But we have been getting some comments like "ah, he must be so cold" or "No blankets yet?" And online it says no blankets until 1 year. But he is so much older and crawling and would look so comfy snuggled up with a blanket, so I thought I would try it for his nap. Well, he didn't mess with the blanket until he woke up but most of all I checked on him the whole time, so not really like a break for me. So what have I learned, just do what we are used to...He can sleep the same and I can relax.

We love Aunt Dawn

Chad's sister Dawn has been a wonderful Aunt to Isaac. How lucky we are to have her!
We found a win-win situation on our hands last Friday while dining with Dawn at La Hacienda. Dawn was going to the laundromat on Saturday to do laundry because her washer and dryer weren't arriving until Tuesday. Chad, the addicted snowboarder, figured out, hey come over and Anne and I will go night snowboarding! Wow, what a night! And after not being able to snowboard last year, Chad and I were pretty good. No major falls and Chad is really fast but we are able to go on the same blue runs.

Aunt Dawn stealing kisses!

Dawn got Isaac this sweater for Christmas. It's his Sunday sweater for church!
Also, he has on the courderoy pants Great Grandma Syko got him too!

It was really cold!

Ready to head up!

Toothbrush

After distracting Isaac from the laptop power cords. I look in my purse to find something for him to play with, I choose a toothbrush from the dentist office. And what do you know....15 minutes of pure pleasure with the toothbrush. Now I can see it now, next Christmas, lots of toys but playing with the boxes instead. Definitely that kind of kid.

And a naked picture just for fun!

#2: 6th Wedding Anniversary Movie and Dinner Aug 24
#3: October Dinner date with Linda and Bob at Saucebox

The Best part is that we have tickets to next wed game as well and Jes and Dan will watch Isaac.

Isaac's 1st hip-hop move: The Reverse Worm (aka crawl)

Okay So I am saturating this blog, but Isaac is entertaining himself on the ground and who knows when I will get this chance again.

Again, I apologize that the clip is so long, Chad is in the director chair and he just keeps it going, of course, I get to be the one in the video, please excuse the hair and horrible first face shot, but who are we kidding, this is all about Isaac.

Does anyone know how these blog sites make money. I never see advertisements. Its amazing.

Love you all, Anne

Uncle's!

Last Saturday, Dan (my bro) planned a great evening at Jason's house (my oldest bro). We had a great time. My brothers are two incredible guys and I love them both soooooo much. Thanks for a great time watching the game on the HDtv and being able to replay that b-roy dunk on your dvr.

Uncle Jason and Isaac.

Isaac actually stopped chewing on the string to smile for this photo. Jason you better save this as your screensaver.

Isaac showing us his new cheesy grin.

Uncle Dan and Isaac (yes that's right, dan stuck him in the couch cushions and it worked...he stuck!)

Dan and Isaac kinda have the same hairstyle.

A little shoutout to Jes and Gio and Chad who were there also.
Love you guys too!

Maggie and Sadie and Me (Marley and me...ha ha ha!)

Isaac has some real great friends these days, Maggie and Sadie, our dogs! Here are some cute shots of them hanging out. We were worried about how the dogs would be around a baby, but they were good from the beginning. Maggie, the black lab, is more social with Isaac, laying next to him, licks him. Sadie is cautious but careful, so that is a nice complement(yes, this is the correct spelling, Chad made me look it up. ). Sadie lets Isaac play with her ears and cuddle.

Loving Sadie

Best Buds

Maggie and Sadie (Isaac is busting out of this shirt, it was the last day he was able to button it up!)

Also, please make note of the adidas shoes, he only fit into them for 2 months but I bought them 10 years ago for like 5 bucks at adidas outlet!

Maggie and Isaac have a good relationship. He likes to touch her nails and Maggie likes to lick his face.

Sadie and Isaac! Sadie lets us do anything.
I have been off work for 9 days!! Part time is so nice, but I am preparing to work 4 out of the next 6 days. Going up to Gresham for the weekend so Mom and Dad can watch Isaac this weekend.
Isaac crawls all over the place. He can stand for a few minutes holding on to something and walk around the house with me holding his hands. He still only says bah bah bah on command, but does give kisses (opened mouthed). It's great.
My favorite thing this week is that I got a new vacuum because I couldn't stand Isaac with dog hair in his mouth. That's right, I got a Dyson. It's fabulous! I vacuum nearly every day and he only gets the occasional hair in his mouth, but it must be good for him, makes him hearty!
xoxo!

Avocado

I think it is so funny that the dogs hang out with us now when Isaac eats to clean up any droppings. Hey I really don't mind because our carpet stays clean. No mess!

Enjoying some avocado!

Usual Ham! He makes a funny noise now where he breathes in and screams. It's odd. But cute!

Tonight Chad is on night shift:( and me and I-man are chillin at the table. Here is what he has for you guys!

Now I have no idea where party people of the world came from. Well it sounded better in my head than it came out. But Isaac is too cute to withhold this video from you all.

Bath time coming up.

Sun River 2008

We arrived at SunRiver at the Pemberton's cabin on New Years Eve. We watched the Beaver's win their Bowl Game!! Then enjoyed 4 days of relaxation. Isaac has learned to crawl. He finally put it all together going for Becky's red toenails and the Wii controller.
We also had some fun with his hair. We used Anne Pemberton's ticky tack gel and made a fantastic mohawk. Then we thought the hair around his ears looked too long and gave him a trim.

What a good dad! I said "do you want me to hold or do you want me cut". Chad said "I'll hold".

Getting a little too excited about the ear trim

All done with the torturing.

"Are you cabin material" Well yes, yes I am.

Post hawk, pre ear trim.

Anne and Isaac opening his presents. Thanks for the cell phone toy. He is crawling all over the living room with it today.

Becky got him this OSU hoodie for next year. It almost fits him now. Thank goodness she decided on the 2T.
Well that's it for now. Back to work tomorrow and Chad has training. Poppa Sajko is coming down to watch Isaac. What fun.
