Day 3

Saturday July 10: Ashland to Sacramento (long drive!)

The brakes were fine in ashland btw...les s-wab (as i like to call it) said it might be the rotors, so he turned them and no more shaking. woot woot.

After the long car ride, we were super excited to see this gorgeous outdoor pool.

This is isaac's new favorite toy, woody. He goes everywhere. And this hotel tub was memorable because isaac had the biggest poopiest diaper ever and eventually needed cleaned in the tub/shower. That hasn't happened since he was an infant. Then whadda know, Natalie exploded as well.

This is how we do things. Crib in the bathroon. It's the only way isaac will go to sleep. Natalie sleeps with us in the extra queen bed or king, in her positioner.

Day 2.5

Friday Ashland Evening

Ashland eve...

Horrible picture but we had already showered for the night when I told Chad...I really feel like ice cream and we hopped in the car at 730 pm and headed out to downtown.

Chads iPhone again. Wifi costs money at the Westin hotel. Ridiculous! I will get pics up tomorrow for 4.95 for 2 hours:) we arrived to San Fran today checked into hotel at 1245 ! Score:) checked out coyote point near our hotel which had goid view if downtown, traveled thru downtown and went across golden gate bridge. In n out for dinner then pool time. Kids were great today. Looking forward to walking/ stroller time tomorrow. Ciao~

I am on chads iPhone. Will have to do post tomorrow as the wifi isn't connecting on my laptop. We have arrived in Sacramento. Much better driving day than yesterday. We hopped in the outdoor pool as soon as we arrived. Isaac loves it and me too! Natalie and Chad watch from the shade. Now we are watching a movie in bed:) Off to San Fran tomorrow!

Day 2

Day 2: Ashland to Crater Lake to Ashland!

The duct tape on the straps is so he won't pull the chest buckle down and get out of harness. It's worked like a charm!

Beautiful Crater Lake. We were going to do the Rim tour (2 hour drive) but decided on visitor center instead due to previously mentioned meltdown.

holy mosquitos. There were about a million mosquitos. It was pretty bad. We weren't able to enjoy the view as much as we would have liked. Note to self: bring repellent next time. I had NO idea!

Self portrait....I like to call this stop on the way back, "BURP stop". Natalie was crying, one of first times, so we knew we should stop, maybe she was uncomfortable and had to burp? but no, no burps. But I think it felt good for her to get some rogue valley air.

Isaac has not been sleeping in the car for naps, so he wouldn't take one yesterday (but did have an hour of quiet time in pack and play). And now today, is finally taking one at 4 pm!!!! We are off to downtown ashland when he wakes up. Chad is at les schwab getting brakes checked. I got them replaced in april but the are kinda shaking so better get them checked before the big pass tomorrow.

ONTO sacramento!

Day 1

Day 1: Salem to Ashland

(I write this as Isaac is trying to fall asleep in pack and play. It's so difficult for him to sleep when we are in same room! Me and Chad are being very quiet until he falls asleep...hopefully soon!)

We left salem around 1030 and headed out! Out of our comfortable airconditioned home for more than 2 weeks. So excited. We stopped in Roseburg and made lunches and played at Stewart Park and Isaac and Chad ran around some basketball courts for 30 minutes while I fed Natalie.

Then got to Ashland and checked into hotel at 3 pm. Fed Natalie again and off to pool...Isaac hasn't been in a pool since last sept. He was cautious, but loved it. When we went back to the hotel room, he said, "water...FUN!" I love that he is expressing his emotions more.

Then showered up, dinner that we premade at home, and off to Lithia Park and dowtown ashland. So FUN!

Sat/Sun July 17-18: Visiting with Grandparents and family (my mom and dad will be in town!)

Monday July 19: San Diego

Tuesday July 20: Head back home! Unsure of where to stay this day, Kettleman City or Bakersfield? Suggestions?

Wednesday July 21: Sacramento

Thursday July 22: Ashland/Medford

Friday July 23: Home Salem, Oregon....Boom

Happy Birthday DAD! July 3rd.

Isaac getting some reading time in with grammie.

Natalie had her 2 week appt last week, she was really 2 weeks and 4 days, but anyways she weighed 8.4 pounds. In 8 days(the wed before she was 7.6) she gained nearly a pound. That is pretty good, I think! She eats every 2.5 to 3 hours and goes about 4-5 hours one time during the night. She is a grunter, so i toss and turn a bit listening to her, but I don't do much during the day but relax with Chad off work! so the nights don't seem to bother me yet. Isaac needs to be potty trained, but we are heading out on a road trip to California and don't want to get into that quite yet. I hope to post blogs every day on our trip. I will get an itinerary up tomorrow. We head out on thu and won't be back for 2.5 weeks. Adventure!

every parent at this park was nice. we all talked to eachother's kids, asked their age, and just super involved. It was really fun.

Nighttime fun with the best friends we could ever ask for...Many great memories made year after year. (I first started going to the pemberton cabin in 2002, that's 8 years! but chad has been friend's with these guys and gals since...forever!)
