President's Day trip with Grammie and Poppa

In October, when we came out to Sunriver, I just kept thinking how fun it would be to come with my parents for some relaxation and fun. So soon after we booked a house, that took dogs and planned it for this weekend. Here we are.....

Isaac is usually some sort of super hero these days....

Natalie loves adventure...wanting to go on icy slippery snow, to have that sliding feeling. 

Sharing good music we all like...

Mom: A little bit of everything...Maroon 5 Daylight got us up and dancing.

Chad and I made Salmon Taco's with orange habanero sauce...Kids gobbled mac and cheese...Baths then to the Sunriver Observatory. Had to dress warm. Isaac was VERY good and interested, Natalie not so much.

Mom gets major Grammie points for joining me at indoor pool, while dad and Chad relaxed at home.  (They were up late night before watching Inception with whiskey on the rocks:))

Anne and Nick and Derek joined us with our passes from our house. Fun times. 

Now the babes above have eaten, showered, reading/singing time and tucked in for nap. Well we are all actually doing that same thing. 

Tonight...happy hour with the pembertons and yummy steak and garlic smashers with oven roasted veges. Can't wait. 

Oh and Qwirkle. 

Bouncy House

As a connoisseur of bouncy houses...I have gone to a few...I really like Bouncing off the walls in Bend Oregon

They don't have the huge slide this time but the kids had fun. 

They have comfy couches...the snacks are super affordable...and they let the kids run around and be kids. 

I told them to get together and this would be a framer picture we would put in their rooms:)

Valentine's Day

Isaac working hard on a letter to Daddy for Valentine's Day. 

Isaac celebrated at school on wednesday the 13th. He was so excited all his friends gave him cards/gifts. It is soooooo fun to do these kind of "made up" holidays, because of the excitement and new-ness that Isaac and Natalie, as children, bring to each event. 

Isaac refusing to write the dd in lower case. I am just happy he is trying at all!

Oregon

Isaac woke up kinda sleepy.
Isaac: Guess what!?!?!
Me: What?
Isaac: It's Oregon's Birthday.

Well after google searching...why yes it is...Happy Birthday Oregon.

We miss you daddy

Video I sent to chad on his first day back to class from winter break....

Chad just got his last evaluation from principal and she told others who told chad that she said it was the best lesson she has ever observed....EVER!
I am so lucky to be his wife...he is so freaking talented and a hard worker and I am glad everyone notices it too:)
