beach part deux

We started day 2 early...9 am:)
we ate free breakfast at the anchor inn
we bought starbucks, water and naked juice
we bought a kite=most fun on beach ever.
d beach

It was pretty good temperature 60's.but i kept natalie's jacket on so she didn't get burnt.

Then we went back to our cottage and had lunch and nap times. Natalie was exhausted from missing morning nap. Isaac laid down but didn't sleep at all....probably because me and chad were hysterically giggling watching the hangover, not a good movie to be quiet while kiddos are napping. oh well.
We packed up again and went to get food to bbq on beach. Isaac fell asleep in the car at 4 pm! We let him sleep for about 45 min. Then this is him, being real grumpy.

This is after dinner at beverly beach. We flew the kite and played in the water. Isaac was really into making sand buildings. In the morning, he was super into the water and the kite. Natalie was just so much fun, very adaptable and happy.

Me flying the kite. There is a better pic that chad took of me but unfortunately it has tons of ugly wrinkles on my face. I told chad i am not posting it. but now i want to show it. so i will....
p.s. i like jackets on my head to keep the sun glare down. i saw one other man do this on the beach. i have done it all my life, it's weird.

okay....now onto the heavy stuff. Ever since last summer, Chad and I have been coming up with a plan for our lives. Well, that plan is officially starting on monday. It's kinda crazy how wonderful it's been with Chad at home with kids. I mean, Natalie, for sure, is the one that got the best out of it. hello....can you say "bonding". Not many kids get the opportunity to be at home with dad and I am blessed that my children were able to have that for 8 months.

The kids are enrolled at the YMCA (thanks Leah, for the referral). Isaac will thrive and Natalie could use some socialization too. We get gym memberships, so I have free daycare to work out too (this is a first since Isaac is born). I am so ready for this transition. I love being happy about it. I love seeing God's work in all aspects of my life, even when it's putting my kids in child care.

I am working full time nights, a very hard transition for me, now that I have kids. 9 years ago when I worked nights, it was me and chad, no worries, no responsibilities. We didn't even have a dog yet! So it's a struggle to get through it, but I work back on 9 east and am very happy to be back with my peeps and awesome manager.

Chad has already completed 3 classes online for his program. All A's so far. Very proud of him, jumping into a master's program. Monday morning starts our new life. I get so anxious about it all, it's so silly to worry, but that's my "lot" in life as I get older. But the more anxious I get, the more I pray, the more I pray, the more I see God in control.

Go bearcats! 2012

Sounds like things are working out. I am working full time and Jimmy is home for the first time ever. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Good luck!
