Will get birthday pics up hopefully tonight.

Nick's Birthday Celebration

We got to celebrate Nick's Birthday with his Family and watch NCAA, where Nick won nearly 300 dollars for his work pool bracket (He already smoked us, in the Barr Family Bracket and won 80 something AND our title trophy)

Bill (Megan's fiance!) and Isaac

THE INFAMOUS MEGAN!
(the facebook video where he is calling "Meh-GAN")

Isaac Snuggling on couch with Nick and Anne

I don't know what we are talking about...but love the candid shot.

Becky (Nick's mom) got Isaac a toy story 3 sticker book. His first Sticker book, he LOVED it. She probably spent over 30 minutes working on it with him.

Natalie having a rough night. Pretty crabby, cutting her right front tooth and right canine. Ouch!

Happy girl, though, when momma is around!

She is 9.5 months and crawling. She crawls really fast.

Dave and Kandace's House

End of March, we got to have dinner and Dave and Kandace's house. Chad and Dave worked together and it's so nice to spend an evening catching up.
Yummy spaghetti and roving kids!

I love this picture...It's the start of Natalie getting out of her "stranger" stage

Isaac Flying and Flying with Dave

Dave and Kandace were nice enough to donate some toys to isaac from their college age son who is in Boston. It felt kinda like Toy Story 3. So sweet.
And I think I may have eaten 3 servings (or more!) of brownies.
Oh yeah, and when we left at 830 pm, Isaac was so exhausted but just had a sweet content smile and said "Dave is Funny".
Good Times.

Girls Weekend

Arch Cape right outside Cannon Beach.

Ginny, Kate and Terese chatting up non sense on bed

Gift Bags...Terese had great idea of each girl bringing 8 of your own fav thing. Then we put them in the bag and got super cool things. Like a homemade rice pillow, wine, claire's earrings (that was mine) good book, soft lips, chocolate, a bag, flip flops and other stuff.

Me and Aven

The girls out to cannon beach

Relaxing

The view from the house....I never made it down to the beach. First time ever.

Aven, me and Terese

Ginny and Aven. We all cooked one meal.

Playing LCR. We played 2 games 3 dollars each and I won the second. This is Kate winning the first.

Aven....miss you. She moved to Walla Walla, WA:(
But now I have a reason to check out Walla Walla.

My favorite parts of trip were....
1. Sleeping and reading whenever I wanted
2. Having Enez teach us Zumba at 11 pm at night with all the windows open. (she is an instructor at Silverton Fitness.
3. Round table questions, with laughter and tears.
Good times.

LOTS of pics coming

WE have been doing lots of fun things but have been too busy to post pics...

1. Went to Dave's house and had wonderful dinner with his wife. Isaac got an awesome police car and etch-a-sketch from them, a hand me down from their son, who is away at college. Reminded me of toy story 3:)

2. Celebrated Nick's Birthday and the Pemberton house. Yummy authentic garden rolls with dumplings. The whole fam was there. It was awesome. Besides Natalie fussing the whole time cuz she was cutting a tooth. A huge one too.

3. I ran a 10 K (6.2 miles). I wasn't able to train as much as I wanted, so my longest run was 4 miles. But I did it. My goal was not to walk and I didn't. So I am pleased. We spent the rest of the day at my parents house and Chad and I took a nap while Isaac watched a movie and Natalie slept. It was heavenly.

4. Went to A.C. Gilbert House (a local children's museum in Salem) with Terese and Noah and her 13 week old Luke. It was so fun, I can't wait to spend many cloudy days there in the next year. Perfect exploration for Isaac's age.

And I work full time nights.

Having fun though....making memories.

testing limits.

Isaac has been on a new kick about testing his limits. For instance....

Drum sticks: He found the wii drum sticks in the closet and started playing the drums, well then he played the leather ottoman, then he played the stroller, then he played the bookshelf. I finally caught on and said no you can't play them on the shelf. So he proceeds to ask can i play here?... can I play here?.... can I play here? I was answering to each place...no, not on the stroller, no not on the wall, no not on natalie. Then I caught on, duh!. I have to be VERY specific. "only on the drums". And I have to follow through....He's sneaky though.

Time outs: The rules are sit on your bottom until the alarm goes off (oh yeah and no screaming while in time out...sometimes he just goes "Ah!" over and over again?) Anyways, I had to remind him to sit on his bottom or he is going to his room by himself (the ultimate punishment, he hates it, and will almost always listen and obey with this warning). Well, he does all sorts of crazy body positioning, laying down, sliding off, but his bottom is still on the step. Well the other day he was in time out and I wasn't staring at him and I find him lying on the step with his bottom up in the air...just to prove a point, I think... that he was still on the step but his bottom was not. Like..."see?" argh!

Can I stand? He constantly ask if he can stand. For dinner, can I stand? No you cannot stand, you have to sit in the chair. He gets soooooooooo upset. Crying upset. He is soooooooo almost 3. I can tell that we are getting past the terrible 2's, but it seems like the drama 3's are next.

sink time

Just spent a well needed girls getaway to the beach with friends and came home to my sweet hubby and kiddos...when momma is too lazy to take her avocado drenched baby up to take a bath it happens in the sink:)

p.s Natalie is now 9 months (on march 13) and can crawl...it's crazy...she rolled and rolled and stretched to get things, then watched cousin Dashiell one day and just put it all together and hasn't slowed down. It's crazy but she is sooooooooooooooooo happy with life. I love it. We have her 9 month appt next week, so stats then, i have a feeling she is on the smaller side, my cutie-patootie.
