Easter

After Church in the morning...Kids took naps then got surprises from Aunts and Cousin Sam...

Then we headed up to Gresham to have Easter dinner with my parents and family...

Then before dinner we watched pics of Dan and Jess trip to Vietnam and other amazing places from last October. 

Then my favorite 3 year old nephew arrived!

and my favorite 3.5 month old nephew. 

Then we thought...Hey, let's do a group pic with kids and here's what we got....

Then Uncle Dan wanted a photo shoot with Julian...

Then we headed home...fun times. 

Easter Egg Hunt

It was so fun to do the Easter Egg Hunt the week before Easter to get a little bit of both parts of the fun and really be able to celebrate Easter on Easter.






They got into their loot on the way home:)

Isaac nearly 5

Boy is he a stinker these days. I think I get so frustrated because he knows what's "right", expectations etc but is so naughty.
Whiney yelley and sometimes just plain mean... It's not rocket science but it's exhausting. I love him sooo much.
Many times lately I have heard the reference that God loves us even when we do stupid stuff and I get it now ...of Gods love for me because of the love I have for my children who rarely get it "right"....and how infinitely more Gods love is for ME!
It amazes me that it's possible but I have a glimpse of it now thru the love of my kids.

give me my egg

Just fighting the battle:(

Anyone else in the world have a 4 year old screaming "give me my egg!!!!"
Throwing a complete tantrum and meltdown at 0826 in the am.

Well, it's here to enjoy at our house.

Isaac has always leaned on the "bossy" side with Chad and I. Sometimes, we need to nip it in the bud and today is one of those days. Screaming that he wants pancakes in addition to fried egg. Not gonna happen today, buddy. Now he is up in room, yelling and screaming...Give me my egg...also screaming if you don't knock it off, you are going to time out! (sounds like something I would say) it's really quite funny, unfortunately.

UPDATE: After calming down and eating...(the egg only) Isaac is asking the best questions about bones and muscles and blood and skin....it's so fun to learn with him...Seriously, parenting is a roller coaster. It's now only 848 am.

UPDATE #2: After playing on ground, refusing to get dressed...Isaac hit Natalie in stomach. Now in time out...It's now 8:58 am.
