Isaac's Birthday...

I know I have been totally neglecting the blog and I have about 10 post of pictures to get up here...but as I perused the last few months I realized I totally missed Isaac's 4th birthday...April 23.

This was taken at Dashiell's 2nd bday in March. cute pic of my boy.

Isaac on his actual birthday...headed to Toys R Us (his first time) with Aunt Dawn. I teared up a bit as he left. He got exactly what he asked for an "Iron Man just like Buzz"....which means a big one:)

Since I was working a lot and Chad was in school Mon-Fri. We picked a day to make it special for Isaac and went to Chuck E Cheese. What a pleasant surprise...Coupon included 25.00 for a bunch a fun! (and dinner)

This was a ride that simulated a flying thing. Isaac decided to act as if he was flying too!

We love Isaac so much and are so excited to see him grow this next year (although I kinda just want him to stay just the way he is right now....inquisitive, whiney when he is tired, cautious, determined, orderly and FUN!). 

Our first chapter book

We just finished today our first chapter book! Isaac had a hard time at first only reading one chapter per night but then starting looking forward to each adventure of Edward tulane!
I am excited to start this new part of our lives and looking forward to many more books with my boy. Hopefully I won't tear up with every one, like I did with this one:)

mommy day

i worked fri sat and sunday night, so pretty sad to have missed out on the beautiful weather and mother's day, but Chad, of course, spoiled me and cared for me as usual through these 3 nights. He took me out on the town for a special present (new TOM's shoes) that I have been wanting for a long time, but never bought b/c I don't feel it's in the budget. So good to splurge. He made my favorite dinner...steak, roasted red potatoes, asparagus and salad and sent me on the road.
Isaac has a really cute preschool thingy he made me (i will take a pic of it tomorrow) and Chad and him worked on a card for me, supermommy. Natalie, snuggled and loved on me whenever she had a chance.

Cousins

We were able to go to zoo on Friday with malia dashiell and my mom. It was a short trip due to rain but still fun to connect. I got to watch dashiell for a bit for Malia and boy was it fun with the three kids. Isaac got to ride in a booster for the first time, such a big boy ( sshhh don't tell anyone he is only 38 lbs.... Needs to be 40 to be legal... so I told him he needs to eat more to go in the booster all the time:)
But the cutest part of day was Natalie feeding dashiell his snack food and saying "eat"... And dash opening his mouth for her... I got alot of those pics... Cuz it was so Gosh darn cute!

tulip fest

Chad says this video looks just like my dad...scary (only cuz I am a girl and that means I look like a dude)! I am trying to get my phone from video to camera in order to take pic of kids:)

My camera ran out of battery so all these pics are from iphone. They turned out pretty good but so bummed because they would have been even better with regular camera. Looking forward to going again next year. 

 

Isaac decided to go again, but I only had one ticket, so off he goes...

the next video is very loud of natalie and me...sorry, but it's cute.

 

Right as the tractor rounded the corner, the driver had to stop because Isaac was crying:( He said he changed his mind he didn't want to go by himself. The driver let me and natalie drive up front on the gator (just like old times at camp) and a few more kids jumped on the ride. It was a bit traumatic but the driver was so sweet to Isaac, allowing us to finish the ride together.
