Christmas came early!

Well this video is a little long but it comes to you from our new computer. A laptop. I love it. We searched and saved and bought. What a way to stimulate the economy this weekend. Isaac and i have a cold that Chad had last week. We are getting over it pretty quickly. Our goal is for Christmas Decorations this weekend. We never usually get them up until 2 weeks before, but this year I really want to enjoy them all season.

Love you all.

Pure Joy

Our new favorite toy is johnny jumper. It was lent to me by a friend at work and Isaac loves, loves, loves it. He is so funny. He jumps over to any thing that walks past him. He yells "Bah, Bah, Bah!" and blows bubbles, constantly entertaining himself.

My parents watched Isaac at our house this last weekend while chad and I worked saturday and sunday. At first when my dad saw the jumper he gave it a long look and shook his head. Safety John! But after much encouragement and instruction, he caved in and had Isaac playing in it all weekend.
Chad and I are working again on Thanksgiving but we have great things planned for Isaac. Grammy and Poppa to watch him and make dinner, while Aunt Heather and Aunt Dawn come for a visit. When Chad and I get home from work, we will be ready for a nice meal!
Happy Thanksgiving!

The Teeth

Hey, so it's a pretty big deal. The first teeth. The first one cut through on Oct 30 at Anne and Nick's house. We jumped for joy when I felt that sucker pop through. The second one came in a week later. And finally I nabbed a photo of him smilin' big so you can all get a glimpse.

Go Beav's

Chad, Brad and Katie watching Isaac do his thing.

Isaac kept grabbing Brad's eyebrows or "catapillers" as we like to call them.

Katie and Isaac.

So these pictures are in reverse order, but I will get the hang of the posting of pictures. I can't even figure out facebook and now I am attempting blogging, the life of a new mom, I guess. I have to spread the massive amounts of photos we take of this kid.
We had a great saturday, tailgating with our friends Nick, Anne, Brad and Katie. It was a chilly morning, but we warmed up with breakfast burritos, then chili, meatballs and a fantastic homemade sandwich, courtesy of Brad. We went to the game to see the OSU beavers win their way to another victory. On their way to the Rose Bowl...Very exciting. Isaac had so much fun tailgating, he was worn out by the time the game started. We left early and watched the end of the game at home.
Then we went over to Anne and Nick's mansion and had a great dinner and Isaac had lots of fun being the center of attention.
Have a great week.

May the Force be with Isaac!

Hey Everyone. The Barr Family is hopping on the bloggin train. We are excited to show all our friends what is going on in our neck of the woods.
Halloween was quite the low key night. Enjoying food and friends in Stayton with Chad's coworker Bob and his wife Linda. Isaac was dressed and ready for trick or treater's, but only 2 kids came. We enjoyed the rest of the evening at their fire pit. And of course Isaac was happy to do whatever.
